These Terms of Service govern the use of MushOps – Kennel Operations for Mushers.
MushOps is a software product of:

MushOps is not a separate legal entity. Lapland’s Wild Paws is the provider and contractual party for MushOps unless expressly stated otherwise.
In these Terms, “MushOps”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lapland’s Wild Paws in its capacity as provider of MushOps.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to the MushOps website, web application, mobile applications, accounts, subscriptions and related services.
MushOps may be used by businesses, kennel operators, organisations and private individuals.
If you create or use a MushOps account on behalf of a kennel, company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act on its behalf.
Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law.
3. MushOps Accounts and Kennels
A MushOps subscription is generally associated with a kennel or customer account rather than with an individual device or individual user.
Depending on the selected subscription plan, multiple authorised users may access the same kennel account using supported computers, tablets or smartphones.
Different roles and permissions may be assigned to individual users.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting their login credentials and ensuring that persons accessing their kennel account are authorised to do so.
Users must notify us without undue delay if they become aware of unauthorised access to their account.
4. Subscription Plans
MushOps may offer different subscription plans.
Plans may differ according to factors including:
- number of dogs;
- number of users;
- available functions or modules;
- storage capacity; and
- other usage limits.
The applicable functionality, limits, subscription period and price will be displayed before a subscription is purchased.
Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly or annual basis.
5. Prices and Payment
Current prices are displayed on the MushOps website, within the MushOps application or through the applicable app store.
Before a consumer places an order, the total price and applicable recurring payment conditions will be displayed as required by law.
Depending on the purchase channel, payments may be processed by Lapland’s Wild Paws, an authorised payment service provider, Google Play, the Apple App Store or another authorised provider.
6. Purchases through App Stores
MushOps may be distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Where a MushOps subscription is purchased through an app store, payment, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund procedures may additionally be subject to the applicable terms of Google or Apple.
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play may be managed through the user’s Google Play account.
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store may be managed through the user’s Apple account.
MushOps may verify subscription status with the applicable app store in order to determine whether a customer is entitled to subscription features.
Deleting a MushOps account does not necessarily cancel a subscription administered by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Such subscriptions must also be managed through the applicable app store where required.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Renewal and Cancellation
Where a subscription automatically renews, the renewal period, price and applicable conditions will be disclosed before purchase.
Customers may cancel future renewal using the cancellation method applicable to the purchase channel.
Unless otherwise required by law, cancellation prevents future renewal but does not immediately terminate access for a subscription period that has already been paid for.
8. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
Consumers entering into a distance contract may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
The beginning and application of the withdrawal period depend on the type of contract and applicable consumer law.
Consumers may exercise their right of withdrawal using the online withdrawal function provided by MushOps where required by law or by sending a clear statement to:
If a consumer expressly requests that a paid service begins during the withdrawal period, consequences permitted under applicable consumer law may apply if the consumer subsequently exercises the right of withdrawal.
Any limitation or loss of a statutory right of withdrawal applies only where all requirements of applicable law have been fulfilled.
Further information is available on the MushOps Right of Withdrawal page.
9. Acceptable Use
MushOps may only be used for lawful purposes.
Users must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to MushOps or another customer’s data, interfere with the operation or security of the service, introduce malicious software or use MushOps in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
10. Customer Data
Customers retain their rights in information and content they enter into MushOps.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have an appropriate legal basis and authority to process personal data entered into MushOps, including information relating to employees, kennel managers, guides, dog handlers or other persons.
Where Lapland’s Wild Paws processes personal data through MushOps solely on behalf of a customer, additional data-processing terms may apply.
11. Dog Health and Operational Information
MushOps provides tools for recording, organising and accessing kennel-related information.
MushOps does not provide veterinary, medical, legal or other professional advice.
Health information, reminders, training information and other information stored or generated through MushOps do not replace professional veterinary assessment or the professional judgment of the kennel operator.
Customers remain responsible for decisions concerning their dogs, staff, equipment, training, races and kennel operations.
12. Availability and Maintenance
Lapland’s Wild Paws aims to provide a reliable MushOps service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, software updates, security measures, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13. Updates and Development
MushOps is an evolving software product.
We may introduce, modify or discontinue functionality where reasonably necessary for development, security, technical performance, legal compliance or improvement of the service.
Changes affecting consumers will be handled in accordance with applicable mandatory consumer law.
14. Intellectual Property
MushOps, including its software, design, branding, documentation and associated intellectual property, remains the property of Lapland’s Wild Paws or the respective rights holders.
A valid subscription grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use MushOps in accordance with these Terms for the applicable subscription period.
No ownership of the MushOps software is transferred to the customer.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect MushOps, its users or their data, including in cases involving suspected security incidents, unlawful use or serious breaches of these Terms.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
For business customers, to the extent permitted by law, Lapland’s Wild Paws is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits or business opportunities, or losses resulting from decisions made solely on information stored or generated through MushOps.
Consumers retain all mandatory statutory rights and remedies.
17. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the MushOps Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Where Lapland’s Wild Paws processes personal data through MushOps on behalf of a kennel or business customer, a separate Data Processing Agreement may apply.
18. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their MushOps account.
Associated personal data will be deleted or anonymised unless continued retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
Where an individual account forms part of a kennel or organisational account, deletion of the individual user account does not automatically result in deletion of the kennel account or information controlled by that organisation.
Further information is available on the MushOps Delete Account page.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary due to legal, security, technical or operational changes.
Material changes affecting existing paid subscriptions will be communicated where required by law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection rights applicable under the law that would otherwise protect you.
